Rūmī 

An art piece inspired by the beloved Sufi scholar and poet, Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī.

Cut in an oversized silhouette, the piece carries a Persian verse across the chest:

هر چیز که در جستن آنی آنی

“What you seek is seeking you.”

The verse is rendered in embossed Persian calligraphy through pigment printing, with its English translation placed beneath.

A khaddar fabric patch on the sleeve depicts an illustration inspired by the Masnavi, Rūmī’s renowned work of Persian poetry and spiritual teachings. Across the back, an oversized khaddar patch illustrates the Sufi whirling tradition, a physical expression of devotion, movement, and spiritual contemplation.

A white rubber patch bearing the embossed Royâ logo sits subtly at the lower left of the back.
